Wonderful pictures. Those of us who can see the incredible beauty of body
and soul that our children have are truly blessed. I get very angry at those
who can't see it and throw these children away. Then, as I read your blog I
realized I should just pity them. They'll never have what we have.

My next door neighbor is a retired special ed teacher. When I told her Liam
had DS she said, "Kathy, do you know how great these kids are?" She repeated
it. She was acting as if I won the lottery. I wish she could speak to all
the other parents who will never know.

My best friend said very similar things to me when Aidan was 1 day old.
The first thing she did was hug me and give me congratulations. A (now)
mutual friend in her buidling has a 14 year old with DS and she had the
experience and pleasure of little Nikki's company.
